The Chris Mikesell Foundation supports programs that provide scholarships and support to Western State Colorado University, Chris’ alma mater. In 2016, the Foundation supported these organizations with grants to further that part of the mission.

• Western State Colorado University Wilderness Based Orientation – $5,000
• Western State Colorado University Wilderness Pursuits – $2,000
