Funded ProjectsPreserving the natural beauty at Bartlett Arboretum

October 25, 2017

As a boy, Chris would roam the grounds of Bartlett Arboretum, a beautiful botanical garden in Belle Plaine, Kan., not far from where he grew up. Established in 1910, the Arboretum preserves and protects the environment’s natural beauty, a vision shared by the Foundation.

A $1,000 grant was given to support the botanical garden’s operating costs through the Legacy Regional Community Foundation. In total, the Foundation has provided $6,000 in grants to support the continued operation of the gardens, ensuring future generations can explore the preserved beauty of nature.
